  • Aprašymas: The funeral of writer and teacher Valerija Valsiūnienė. From the Writers' Union Club building in Vilnius is moved coffin with the deceased remains. In the street a crowd of people gathered to bid farewell to the late. The coffin is carried in the open lorry, decorated with birch trees. Brass Band plays. Funeral procession passes by the library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences towards the cemetery Antakalnis. In the Antakalnis cemetery at the grave speaks the poet Teofilis Tilvytis. Behind him stands a writer Antanas Venclova. A woman speaks. The tomb decorated with flowers and wreaths.
